ACEITUNAS TORRENT S.L. is the outgrowth of a life dedicated to the olive’s commercialization and seasoning. Since it’s origin, in the end of XIX Century, the TORRENT family began their first steps in the table olive world. It was precisely in 1898, when Mr. Francisco Torrent Terol moved from Alicante to Córdoba and built the first factory of this dynasty.
With this first producing plant, he began exporting our products to South American countries.
In 1929, when olives were carried in carts from the olive groves located in villages such as Aguilar de la Frontera or Puente Genil, it was Mr. Máximo Torrent San Emeterio, son of the founder, who followed with the steps of the company. Forty years later, in 1969, Mr. Francisco Torrent Béjar, emulated his father assuming the management of the company and moving into the industrial area of “Las Quemadas”, where the company stayed until 1998.
It was with the family’s fourth generation that the purchased 90.000 square meters in the North Industrial Area of Aguilar de la Frontera (Córdoba – Andalusia). This location is situated in the center of a producing region and is very well connected to maritim ports and highways for terrestrial transport of the products.

In this new location we have installed our office, as well as producing facilities with more than 1.600 square meters each of the four buildings. We have also installed a building of more than 1.900 square meters to receive the olives, clasify and oxidate. There we can also find the fermentation tanks.
This new producing facilities are equipped with the latest technology and subject to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards, as well as ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management.
