Following the large amount of visitors received in the last few years, Gulfood has become a key appointment on the Aceitunas Torrent calendar of international trade fairs. The largest food and drinks fair in the Middle East, Gulfood has been the place chosen by the Cordovan company to present its new corporate image and key product line packaging, together with the launch of the premium Torrent 1898 range.
A party of four has traveled to Dubai to welcome in their stand long-term distributors and collaborators, as well as introducing new contacts to the Torrent world, brands and products.
Ragab Saad, export manager of Aceitunas Torrent in the Arab Countries, has labelled this edition as “the best of recent years by far and has stressed how doubling the exbibiting space of Aceitunas Torrent has offered the chance to comfortably attend more visitors during the last five last days. Our Hojiblanca olive is highly appreciated for its quality and the Torrent brand has become synonymous with guarantee, so fortunately, we keep enjoying the interest of new buyers” says Saad, after having obtained leads from all five continents.
Bye bye Gulfood, こ ん に ち は (Hello) Foodex!
Gulfood, on its 23rd edition now, has taken place from 18 to 22 February in Dubai´s World Trade Center, and released figures include 5,000 exhibitors, 20,000 brands and 96,000 visitors from more than 200 countries around the world. Over the years the show has evolved to become an extraordinary commercial and business platform not only for the Persian Gulf, but also for many other countries of Asia and Africa.
Aceitunas Torrent will certainly be back next year. Meanwhile, lets roll out the special 2018 journey planned ahead, commemorating the 120th anniversary of this family owned firm. Some stops include Foodex Japan, PLMA (Amsterdam) and Sial Paris.
