The Coolives won this prestigious innovation award at Anuga, the top international agri-food fair, with the winners being chosen from over 1,300 participants: The Coolives was the only Spanish product among the winners.
Over the last five days, at the Anuga fair (this year entitled “Transform”), over 4,600 food and beverage companies from 98 countries have presented their novelties to more than 70,000 visitors.
Anuga, the most prestigious international agri-food industry fair, brings together 10 different events, including the Anuga Taste Innovation Show 2021, with the innovation categories being sustainability, health and convenience. In this particular show, which over the years has played the role of a barometer of trends and a driver of the global food business, The Coolives, the range of snacks produced by the Cordovan olive company Aceitunas Torrent, won an award as one of the 10 most outstanding international innovations of the year.
In this year’s show, the jury was made up of an expert panel of specialized journalists and market research analysts, and from the 1,332 ideas presented, 67 products and concepts were chosen as outstanding in terms of their ideas, innovation, sustainability and creation. In addition, 10 products won awards for their special innovative character – and one of these was The Coolives.
The Coolives range of olives consists of flavoured olives with eight different flavours, some of them as innovative as curry or black truffle, presented in attractive, functional and sustainable packaging.
During this year’s event, as well as presenting The Coolives for the first time to the sector, Aceitunas Torrent attended the event as an exhibitor in the Excellence of Spain pavilion, with 3 more of its flagship brands: Torrent, Torrent 1898 and Oliva Clan.
The Coolives reflects the company’s new commitment to adapting to market trends and provides another example of its innovative contributions to the sector.
