Aceitunas Torrent has developed an important Social Responsibility policy in order to guarantee the satisfaction of its customers and the people who form part of the company and, at the same time, to comply with the company’s environmental commitments.
Quality
and continuous improvement
At Aceitunas Torrent we not only comply with demanding food safety standards, such as ISO, BRC and IFS, in which we have been certified for years, we also continue to work daily in our quality and R&D+i department, made up of professionals undergoing continuous training, to improve our traceability system.
In addition to the aforementioned certifications, we have Kosher and Halal certifications, which guarantee that our Aceitunas Torrent products and services comply with the provisions of Islamic Law (Sharia) and the rules of the Jewish religion, thus satisfying the demands of a wide range of consumers with specific quality and cultural requirements.

Compact

At Aceitunas Torrent we are members of the United Nations Global Compact and we annually update our Progress Report in which we report with full transparency on the progress and milestones achieved in terms of sustainability and implementation of the ten principles of the pact. We are also committed to adopting measures in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations: responsible production and consumption, gender equality and clean and renewable energy, among others.
Code of
Ethics
At Aceitunas Torrent, we put into practice the fundamental principles in place since the company’s foundation, such as transparency, correctness and impartiality. These principles are set out in a document which, in turn, establishes the general guidelines to be followed by all those who operate within our company. The Code of Ethics is the concrete expression of our culture and values. It is a guide for employees, managers, shareholders and members of the Board of Directors in all their professional relationships, to reaffirm our desire to maintain the highest standards of honesty and integrity.
Criminal Compliance Management System
Our criminal compliance management system is implemented, maintained and continuously improved by defining, monitoring and reviewing the necessary policies, processes and procedures, as well as their interactions, always with the aim of adopting measures designed to assess criminal risks, prevent them, detect them and manage them early on, always proportionally and in a balanced and reasonable manner.
The basic principle of our Criminal Compliance Policy is the prevention and detection of crimes within our Organisation.
All employees and other members of our Organisation, as well as the business partners of Aceitunas Torrent are called upon to comply with this Policy.
ACEITUNAS TORRENT S.L. declares its commitment to the highest standards in compliance with legal, ethical and moral rules and its adherence to the strictest principles of integrity, objectivity and honesty, so that its activity is perceived by all agents related to it as being opposed to fraud and corruption in any of its forms.
Equality plan
For Aceitunas Torrent, the development of policies that seek effective equality between men and women, not only in the company, but also in society, has always been a priority. For this reason, within our company we work under the premise of equal salaries and positions of responsibility, under the umbrella of the Second Equality Plan signed in 2023.
Donations and collaborations
As part of our CSR work, at Aceitunas Torrent we try to be close to those who need it most. For this reason, we make donations and collaborate with different institutions, at local, provincial and regional level.
