With this innovation award for its new product ranges, Oliva Clan and The Coolives, the company gains further recognition as one of the most innovative agro-food companies in Spain.
The fourth edition of the Observatory of Innovation in Mass Consumption in Spain was launched two weeks ago in Madrid by the Institut Cerdà, with the aim of focusing on the main challenges facing the sector and showcasing the 20 most innovative projects carried out in 2020 to respond to these challenges.
Innovation in Aceitunas Torrent product ranges
The 16 independent experts who made up the selection panel singled out Oliva Clan and The Coolives, Aceitunas Torrent’s ranges of olives in snack format, from over 300 other products from all over Spain, and highlighted the following features:
- These liquid-free flavoured olives have extended the consumption range, helping to boost an essential corner of the Spanish agri-food sector.
- The container is made of totally recyclable and reusable tin.
- The creation of Oliva Clan represents the first range of olives aimed exclusively at children.
In this fourth edition, in addition to Aceitunas Torrent, other innovative projects from household names such as Heineken, Nestlé, Colgate Palmolive, Nespresso, Mercadona and Covap were also chosen.
Oliva Clan’s second award
This is the second accolade for innovation that Aceitunas Torrent has received this year. Oliva Clan won the Product of the Year 2021 award in the children’s snack category.
