Alimentaria, the largest international trade fair for the food. beverage and gastronomy industry, which was held in Barcelona from April 4 to 7, was the setting chosen by Aceitunas Torrent for the official presentation of its most innovative range, The Coolives, in the national territory.
The launch was carried out through a pairing activity in which the renowned bartender Héctor Henche devised three original cocktails in combination with our olives with a cherry, mojo and black truffle aroma, something that evidenced the many possibilities offered by this versatile product, available in a green and black olive version, and that we can find flavored with curry, cherry, black truffle, mojo, coconut and pineapple.
The three original combinations were very well received by the audience. This multi-award-winning range that we are presenting at Alimentaria is conceived as a way of life, associated with the concepts of Cool (they are modern), Care (the container in which it is presented is made of reusable tin) and Live (associated with the concept of healthy, since our product is a satiating and nutritionally healthy snack).
Tackling new options
This has been the first time that Aceitunas Torrent has attended this national fair and the truth is that the sensations that we get cannot be better! It has been a few very intense days where the agendas have been filled throughout all the days. The Area Managers displaced there have been able, on the one hand, to put a face to clients with whom there was already a previous commercial relationship and, on the other, it has served as a meeting point and interest for many other companies, national and international, who approached to our stand interested in our products.
In this first post-pandemic edition, Alimentaria has been visited by some 100,000 people. The great gastronomic hall has returned with force to the Fira de Barcelona, although it is still far from the visitor figures from before the covid. In total, it has brought together some 3,000 exhibiting companies (400 of them international), which have occupied some 85,000 square meters. Aceitunas Torrent has attended the Provincial Institute of Economic Development of the Provincial Council of Córdoba (Iprodeco) and has been located in the Land Of Spain Pavilion (of the Andalusian Government). According to data provided by the organizers, this edition of Alimentaria has left an economic impact of 180 million euros and has had 23% international visitors. At the next appointment, more and better!
