C’est déjà fini! After five intense days in Paris, from 21st to 25th October, Sial Paris came to an end and Aceitunas Torrent says goodbye to this event very satisfied.
After attending the fairs of Gulfood (Dubai), Foodex (Japan) and PLMA (Amsterdam), Aceitunas Torrent fulfills and closes it’s annual calendar of fairs in one of the most important food exhibition of the world, Sial Paris. This is a biannual event where the latest market trends get presented, as well as new products.
More than 7.000 exhibitors from around the world and the great weather were the main ingredients of this food event that Aceitunas Torrent didn’t want to miss. This year, Sial Paris attracted more than 160,000 representatives of the sector from almost 200 countries. A new record!
Opening new markets
Our sales team received on our stand, within the Spanish ICEX pavilion, numerous visits from all around the world. They had the chance to learn about all our formats and ever so popular the Torrent 1898 line, consisting of large olives stuffed with caramelized, natural and spicy flavoured fillings.
Sial Paris has allowed us to strengthen our relationship with our customers throughout the five continents. At the same time opening new markets and continuing with the promotion of our olives, already present in more than 70 countries around the world. Our area manager Olalla Ruiz says that “we have been able to meet with current customers and make a significant number of contacts, which we hope will open the doors of new markets and customers.”
