Coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Gulfood Dubai, Aceitunas Torrent presented its latest and most innovative product, Oliva Clan

Following the Supermarket Trade Show in Japan at the beginning of February, our sales team headed to Gulfood, Dubai, the largest food and beverage fairshow in the world. From 16-20 February, and coinciding with the 25th anniversary of Gulfood Dubai, Aceitunas Torrent presented its latest and most innovative product, Oliva Clan.

This is the seventh consecutive year that Aceitunas Torrent has been present at Gulfood. This year, our exhibition zone is a large 24 sqm stand featuring a specific area dedicated to our latest product: Oliva Clan.

Oliva Clan: aromatised olives for children

Oliva Clan is an innovative range of pitted olives that includes six different varieties. Four of them are aromatised and the other two feature the traditional flavours of green and black olives. This product constitutes one of the healthiest snack options for children aged from four to twelve, thanks to the renowned nutritional value of olives, which are high in fibre, iron, vitamins, calcium, and vegetable proteins, among others.

Oliva Clan proposes an innovative, fun and convenient vacuum packed can, which is easy to open, liquid-free, and totally safe for children. For that reason, this original and healthy snack unveiled by Aceitunas Torrent at the food fair held in Dubai is the perfect choice for consumption both at home and on the go.

Gulfood, a very special tradeshow for Aceitunas Torrent

Blanca Torrent, CEO of Aceitunas Torrent, outlined further, “the presence of Aceitunas Torrent at Gulfood is motivated by the large number of customers that we have in Middle Eastern markets, which are some of the biggest in the world since they are traditionally major consumers of olives, and particularly black olives, which we specialize in”.

Ragab Saad, Aceitunas Torrent Area Manager for the Middle East, is sure of the potential of Oliva Clan in the region. “Olives are highly consumed in the Middle East. It’s part of the local culinary culture. They are included in the daily diet of children due to their high nutritional value, even for breakfast. Based on my over 15 years’ experience in the industry, I think that such an innovative and attractive product for children, with such convenient and eye-catching packaging will be a huge success – Oliva Clan has a clear future in the region”.
